Organize emails with drag and drop
Create a folder
With .Mac Mail, you can organize your messages into folders, just as easily as you can with Mac OS X Mail. Start by creating some folders.
1.   If you're not already in .Mac Mail on the web, go to www.mac.com and click Mail on the .Mac tab.
2.   Click the "Add a folder" link next to the Mail Folders. Note that if you have already created a custom folder here, the link will read "Manage . . ."
3.   To create a top-level folder (one level below the root level, which is Mail Folders), type a folder name in the field at the bottom of the folder list, then click the New Folder button.
4.   To create a sub-folder, select the folder under which you want the sub-folder to be nested, type a folder name in the field at the bottom of the folder list, then click the New Folder button.
Add multiple messages to a folder
When you have a lot of emails, it might take a while to organize your messages by dragging them one at a time. Follow these steps to select and move many messages at once.
1.   To select multiple adjacent messages, select the first message, press and hold the Shift key, then select that last message in the group.
2.   To select multiple messages that are not adjacent, hold down the Command key as you select individual messages.
3.   Once the messages are selected, drag them to the desired folder on the left, or select Move to Folder from the Actions pop-up menu and follow the instructions to select a destination folder.
Move a message to a folder
Once you've created some folders, it's easy to move messages to clean up your Inbox.
1.   To move a message you are reading to another folder, just select "Move to Folder" from the Actions pop-up menu (labeled with a gear and a down arrow). Follow the instructions to select a destination folder.
2.   To move a message to another folder, select it in your message list and drag it to the destination folder on the left.
