Keeping Track of Backup History

Every time you back up or restore files with Backup, a record of the event is saved. You can view this backup history to see specifically what files were backed up or restored, as well as the time of the backup and other details. If there's an error, Backup will notify you while the backup is taking place.
  1. Select a backup plan from the main Backup 3 window.
  2. From the Plan menu, choose History.
  3. In the window that appears, notice all the times backups occurred in the Date column.
  4. To see if a backup was successful and how many files were backed up or restored, look in the Event column.
  5. To get more information about a specific backup, select it in the list and click View Details.
  6. In the window that opens, you can view all of the files that were added to the backup, and see any problems that were encountered during the backup.
  7. To save the details, choose Save a Copy As from the File menu.
  8. Give the file a name, and choose a location to save it.
