What Are .Mac Groups?

Do you want to improve your club or organization's communication, keep a large family spread over a large area close, or just keep a small group up-to-date on upcoming events? .Mac Groups can help you do these things and more. In fact the number of ways you can use .Mac groups is only limited by your imagination.

A junior soccer league could use .Mac Groups to keep all the members and their parents up-to-date and involved in local fund-raising events, changes to the practice or games schedule, as well as other social events that come up during the course of the season.

A family spread out over a large area can use .Mac Groups to share family photos, announce reunions, and help each other researching their family tree.

People who have similar interests, such as classic car clubs, groups of movie enthusiasts, or quilting organizations, can use .Mac groups to share information, plan get-togethers or classes, and even share projects with one another.

Requirements:
To create a .Mac Group you need to have a full .Mac membership and at least 50 MB of storage available on your iDisk. To join a group you will need to have a .Mac ID or create a new one.
