Tip:
If you do not have a .Mac membership and you receive an invitation to join a group, you will need to sign up for a .Mac ID before joining the group. Your .Mac ID comes with a 60-day trial membership to .Mac so you can try out all that .Mac has to offer.

Using Your Group iDisk

When you're a member of a .Mac Group it's easy to keep in touch with everyone in the group. Right on the group page you can view announcements, see a listing of recent messages, subscribe to the group's calendar, and even share files with other group members.
  1. From the Go menu, choose iDisk, and then choose My iDisk from the menu that appears. (.Mac membership required.)
  2. Copy the files you want to share into any folder in the group's folder in your iDisk.
  3. Tell the members of your group to go to the .Mac group page in their web browser.
  4. Members of your group can click Group iDisk to see the files you added.
  5. Group members can choose to download the files to their own computers, or upload other files.
