| Everything you need, always ad-free As a .Mac member you can create private ad-free websites for the groups you belong to, complete with a message board, announcements, group slideshow, calendar, member contact information, and offsite links. Group members can join and participate regardless of whether they connect to the web with Macs or PCs. Invitation only, password protected Membership in .Mac Groups is private, limited to those you invite to join, or, if you choose, to those you and the other members in your group invite. Your group members can rest assured that access to the group pages is limited to those who are on the official membership list which you maintain. ![]() Group iDisk online storage Each .Mac group you create has its own iDisk online storage for file sharing and web page publishing. Group members using Macs can access the storage directly through the Finder and via their web browsers, and PC-using members can access the group iDisk through their web browsers as well. |
Share photos, movies, and more Group members can publish web pages directly to the group website with either iWeb or HomePage and use them to share photos, movies and more with each other. Additionally all members can contribute photos for automatic inclusion in the group slideshow. ![]() A calendar for the group As a group owner you can use iCal to maintain and publish a calendar for your group activities. The calendar thumbnail on the group page links directly to the published calendar on the web, and iCal-using members can also subscribe to the calendar directly through iCal itself. |
