Anywhere access to vital information
Whether you're at the office, on the road with your portable, or at an Internet cafe, the powerful syncing capabilities of .Mac and Mac OS X give you access to the same Address Book contacts, iCal calendars and Safari bookmarks that you keep on your Mac at home. With Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" your critical Mail information such as rules, signatures, and Spotlight-driven Smart Mailboxes as well as stored passwords from your Keychain are all right at your fingertips, no matter which Mac you're using.

Scheduled updates
From the .Mac System Preferences panel, you can sync manually or set your .Mac synchronization to occur weekly, daily or hourly. And with Tiger, synchronization happens transparently in
the background.

Online access to your contacts, calendars, and bookmarks
You can sync your Mac OS X Address Book on your desktop with your .Mac Address Book online so you always have your most current contact information with you. And you can publish your iCal calendars on the web for easy viewing and sharing. You can also access your Safari bookmarks from any Internet-connected computer by synchronizing your Safari bookmarks with your .Mac Bookmarks.

Built-in synchronization for
multiple Macs

Tiger integrates .Mac's Mac-to-Mac synchronization feature into its operating system, giving you control over what, when and which applications you want to sync. Tiger accesses data from your Mac OS X Address Book (for your contacts), iCal (for your schedule and to-do items), Safari (for your bookmarks), Keychain (for passwords) and Mail (for rules, signatures and Spotlight-driven Smart Mailboxes) and synchronizes it across all your Macs, so you always have the most up-to-date version of your data. Any changes you make to your synced data on one of your Macs travels securely over the Internet to .Mac servers as soon as you sync. When you synchronize your other Macs, they'll automatically receive all the
latest changes.
